Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Communications Specialist will manage the Admissions Office’s constituent relationship management system (CRM), Jenzabar Recruitment.  They are responsible for understanding functional user roles and identifying solutions to meet business needs. The employee will make data-informed recommendations and leverage Recruitment’s functionality to support the enrollment goals of LaGrange College.

 

Job Duties (but not limited to):

  • Executes daily processes from Jenzabar Recruitment to generate the daily automated communication steps for prospective students.
  • Monitors and identifies problems that may occur in the daily operations of the CRM and offers/executes necessary solutions, makes recommendations, and evaluates results for admissions campaigns.
  • Manages and monitors the CRM output, coordinates direct mail fulfillment, and monitors needed supplies to provide continuous execution of the communication plans.
  • Responsible for configuration, testing and maintenance of communications plans in the CRM.
  • Acts in the role of Module Manager for various components of the Jenzabar One ERP system and establishes departmental best practices for successful implementation
  • Revises Admissions policies as needed to incorporate new procedures developed as a result of changing ERP solutions
  •  Create, design, and deliver workflows, reports and dashboards (both electronic and hardcopy) in conjunction with the Director of Admissions for distribution to Board of Trustees, senior administration, faculty, staff, and other concerned constituents.
  • Active participation in various Admissions Office Recruiting events. Weekend and evening hours are occasionally required.
  • Works with the Director of Admissions and other staff members to develop and foster a spirit of cooperation among all staff members to accomplish common goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with Salesforce based CRM platforms, and to candidates with previous higher education or non-profit organization experience.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to maintain accurate records while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a goal-oriented team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students and all key members of the college and local community.
